The River
The Mississippi River has acquired many meanings as it flowed
through Minneapolis. Whether spiritual, industrial, recreational or
ecological, the river's history and identity are close to our own. Now
this mighty river acquires yet another identity: aquatic ecosystem
that received the catastrophic collapse of the I-35 bridge August 1,
2007. What impact will the I-35W bridge collapse have upon our
